Abstract—This paper mainly discusses a smart safety helmet project according to certain designing and making methodology to get an entire product. The whole process includes project management, mechanical design, 3D modeling, Arduino software programing etc. And the final product shows that this kind of methodology can achieve the goal of less number of product design modification, the short product development cycle, the low product cost and the high product quality.
